Kristina Werner's Challenge #45

Hi Everyone! Hope you had a good week. I've been busy with sewing projects and general to-dos before baby comes. We are moving Nick from his baby room to his new big boy room. The nursery is now in an odd transition with half boy stuff and half girl stuff. :) I'm looking forward to both rooms being done. Any tips on getting an 18 month old to sleep in a twin bed!?!?! Its going to be a fun couple of months ahead....

I had to take a break from sewing and play with Kristina's color challenge this week. I love using color so this one took me a few trys.

Materials: All Hero Arts stamps, Hero Arts buttons, Nestabilities Label One Die Cut, String, Ribbon, Machine Stitching, BoBunny Paper.

Thanks for checking in! Have a great week!

Mama Elephant: October Anniversary Stampede!

It's Mama Elephant Birthday Stampede time!  This is so awesome, right? I'm so excited you've joined me from Stephanie's blog! Today I'm a sharing a lot of stamping goodness! Now that I'm counting, my card uses 4 new Mama Elephant stamp sets ! This card all started with the sentiment. My kids are always buzzing around the house singing and one of their favorite is Everything is Awesome (Lego Movie anyone?). :) I started with a faint pencil line to create AWESOME from the new Block Party Letters . I colored them in with Copics and then did some creative masking and stamping from Happy Everything to add the beginning of the sentiment. Next I stamped the penguin and hat (from the new Artic Penguins ), colored them and die cut them for a perfect cut. The soft, grey striped background was created using the new Boutique Borders . All stamps and dies can be purchased NOW at the Mama Elephant store HERE . Next up? The very talented JJ Bolton !

Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store! www.mamaelephant.com I am so excited to share the new stamp set Ella & Friends with you! There are so many fun images to choose from in this set that all centers around the BEST elephant stamp ever. ;) I started my scene by stamping the elephant, then I masked in the bunny and bubble blower. Finally, I stamped the bubbles, puddle and splashes. I was SO fun to create. I colored the images with Copics and added a little ink to complete my scene. I trimmed it down to fit inside of the Instalove Creative Cuts and stamped the sentiment. I know you'll agree that stamping this set is super fun but first... To celebrate the new release, Mama Elephant is picking 3 winners to win their choice of stamp set! Winners will be chosen at random from the collective blogs in the Stampede.
