Avery Ellle Winter Wonderland Wonders

Hi Everyone! Ashley here sharing a few tips using the new Winter Wonderland Wonders stamp set and dies. I love creating layered scenes and I'm going to share how easy it is with you today!

To create my card I started by cutting a piece of Post it Tape in the shape of a hill. You can free form cut this or use a die like Picket Fence. I like to add a piece of copy paper to the side of the tape I want to mask so I have great coverage on my card. Next, lay the mask on your card surface and add ink. Tip: concentrate the ink close to the mask and then fade it out. Move your mask up our card and turn it slightly, layering a background of hills. I created 3 hills but you can created as many as you'd like!

Next, stamp a tree at the top of your hill. This adds fun depth and interest. Next, stamp and die cut the animals you want in your scene. I chose the bear, bunny and deer. Aren't they cute?

Place the animals on each hill, varying their position on the card. Tip: put the animals below the hill line for a more realistic look.

Finally, stamp the sentiment and add sequins, patterned paper or any other embellishment you'd like.

Tip: when I find a layout like this that I like, I often repeat it. HERE is another card I created using the layered scene.

Thanks for stopping by! I can't wait to see what you create!

Avery Elle Holiday Bouquet

Hi Everyone! Ashley here sharing the amazing poinsettia stamp set Holiday Bouquet. One of my favorite holiday traditions is looking at poinsettias at my local nursery. I couldn't wait to bring my favorite poinsettia color to this stamp!

I started the card by coloring and die cutting the main image from Holiday Bouquet. I love the new Shaker Dies and decided to use the circle die to add a tag shape behind the focal image. I kept the background simple with some Distress Stain and sequins. The card was finished with twine and a stamped sentiment.

Avery Elle Brring on the Joy

Hi Everyone! Ashley here today sharing Brring on the Joy!

I started my card by stamping and die cutting all of the images from the stamp set. I do this often when I first get a stamp set to play with the stamps and move them around to see how I can use them. Tip: All the pieces I didn't use are tucked away for another project. ;)

I decided to use this penguin to carry the wreath and lights. He is ready to deck the halls! I placed him on the ice and completed my card with one of the great sentiments from the set.

Another tip! I like to use my die cuts to create windows on my cards. On this card I used Wonky Stitches Dies.

Wanna see another penguin card I created? Check it out HERE!

Avery Elle Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Avery Elle blog hop! I'm excited to share one of the new sets being released! You won't want to miss out on all of the other inspiration so after you check out this card, hop on over to see what Elena Roussakis made!

Today I'm featuring Sledding Critters! These are the critters you've come to love over the last several releases and now they are all jam packed in an adorable sled.

I love this stamp because it really makes the whole card for you. I stamped, colored and die cut the image. Next, I lightly inked the sledding hill with Distress Inks.

I cut a piece of black card stock and embossed a sentiment from the set. Adding two pieces of black card stock on either side, with a little flag cut on the ends makes a quick and easy DIY banner.

I finished the card with sequins and mounted it on some patterned paper.

Avery Elle Summer Favorites

Hi Everyone!

I'm excited to share my projects today! These are some of my favorites from this summer. First, I used several products for sweet card. I can't say it enough but I love how Avery Elle products mix, match and combine with each other during each release and from previous releases. This card proves it!

This card using Birthday Bus, Sentimental Too on the outside...

...and Birthday BusSentimental Too, Woodland Wonders and Monsters. Isn't it fun how they all work together.

Next I created a fun mini album with Modern Alpha. I love prints and it's fun to recreate some of my favorite sayings with this alphabet. I had to add the adorable crab from Bubbles because he is just so cute.

United We Flourish: Avery Elle with Ellen Hutson

We are excited to announce that we have teamed up with Ellen Hutson to bring you a very special exclusive stamp and coordinating die set!  G'day Mate features the cutest unique critters! This United We Flourish set is sold exclusively at Ellen Hutson and you can find it here.

Below is a little bit more about Ellen Hutson's United We Flourish program:

Last November we began celebrating our 10th anniversary with the theme United We Flourish. And what does United We Flourish mean? It means that our company would not be here without the amazing companies we work with, the designers who create stunning projects showcasing the wonderful products being created AND you, our fabulous customers! YOU are such a vital part of our creative community - you inspire & encourage us! Your response to United We Flourish was overwhelming and heart-warming. We heard repeatedly from you that you appreciate how our little company works together with the other manufacturers we carry to bring you their products and education showing how to use those products. To thank you for your constant support and encouragement, we have partnered with some of our friends to offer exclusive limited edition stamp & die sets!!! These sets will be available for a limited time (most likely 3-6 months) after each release, depending on how quickly you snap them up. The theme of these stamps sets are uplifting and fun.

We are thrilled to present the second one to you... G’Day Mate Avery Elle exclusively for Ellen Hutson LLC.

Today I am SO excited to share my card with you using the new set! This set is AMAZING.

I created a little scene adding hills to my card. I did this by creating a curved mask with Post-it Tape. Next, I stamped, die cut and colored the platypus and kangaroo images from the set. I stamped the koala and the butterflies directly on the card base.

After I adhered the animals, I stamped the sentiment and adhered the sequins. I finished the card by matting it on patterned paper from the Avery Elle 6x6 Happy Collection.

This was such a fun card to create! I can't wait to see what you create!

Avery Elle

Hi Everyone!

Today I'm sharing Avery Elle's Mom & Dad stamp and die set. The flowers in this set are amazing! I started by stamping and coloring the flowers. This set the color theme for my whole card. Next, I stamped "Mom" and die cut it out. I LOVE when die cuts to all the work on such detailed stamps. I grounded the two stamps withe the black die cut banner.

I mounted everything on a white card stock panel die cut with Wonky Stitches. The card was finished the with Happy Birthday sentiment and patterned paper from The Brights Collection.

Next up I used Beside the Sea for this sweet simple card. I stamped and die cut the houses, added the kite and colored them all in. The houses were adhered to a white piece of card stock that I ink blended with Distress Inks.

The card was finished with a sentiment and some patterned paper from my stash.

Avery Elle No Way & Welcome Home

Hi Everyone! Today I'm sharing Avery Elle's No Way and Welcome Home

On my first card I started the card by cutting two pieces of patterned paper. This created a place for me to stamp the adorable avocado stamp. I added a few action lines with a Copic multiliner and then stamped a birthday hat from Extraordinary.

I stamped the large sentiment next and then heat embossed "it's your birthday" on black.
I finished the card with sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and twine from Avery Elle.

Next, I created a card with this timeless house stamp. Won't this be fun to use year round? I stamped the individual pieces of the house, die cut the door, tree and roof and pieced it all together.

Have a great week!
